lyrics
She was the sunrise
But he refused to get up
Cause the touch of her rays
Just wasn't enough
And even if he tried
He knew he'd only burn
Cause the beauty of her eyes
Is something that you earn
She saw the big picture
All he could see was her
But he couldn't hold his tongue
He was careful but so young
The philosophers say it's the wild part of her that wants you
And that she deals with it like fools do
Saying that she can't choose
Her separated lips send you up into the air without a parachute
Do you think that she can catch you?
Do you think she really loves you?
Fever blisters on your lips from the heat of the words that you've carefully sung
But when you light such a fire filled with heartache and desire
You let her smoke slowly fill up your lungs
She'll never let you burn and she'll pray that it won't die down
Because she needs you
Do you think she really loves you?
The philosophers say it's the wild part of her that wants you
And that she deals with it like fools do
Saying that she can't choose
Her separated lips send you up into the air without a parachute
Do you think that she can catch you?
Do you think she really loves you?
I listened to a lot of Steve Lawson's music before buying any. So easy to play in the background while browsing on the iPad. So many moods and good to hear it coming as played live. He gets a lot from a bass and its in HD flac. It was time to catch up on buying... Alan Hall

WTF? How was this not in my Bandcamp collection. I must've bought it from a different account before! Anyway, I've been listening to this since before it was released and a decade on it's still a spectacularly perfect collection of songs. Sounds like a greatest hits album. Literally any track could be chosen as my 'favourite'. Truly astonishing. Steve Lawson
