lyrics
Dear Mr. Frost, must you paint my heart so beautifully?
Convince my mind, buy some time, your words infect me, rob me blind
Dear Mr. Frost, I'm lost, though you say it's clear for me
write my summer songs before they're gone and winter says I'm wrong
When the snow begins to fall, where's the warmth to melt it all
away When you're left to beg my heart to stay?
Paint me
Decorate me
Put me on a pedestal and tell me that you want me still
Break me
Come back and save me
Lie to me, but love me still, and tell me that you always will
Print my name within the subtext of your mind
Don't be so forward in the prologue of our time
Love me blind
Dear Mr. Frost, my heart's been mapped out carefully
My hiding spots, and all my thoughts laid out for you to see
What is the cost of careful love versus sanity
When you budget time, you seem to find you'll better afford the mind
When the winter turns to spring, you'll seek the fortunes that it brings
Paint me
Decorate me
Put me on a pedestal and tell me that you want me still
Break me
Come back and save me
Lie to me, but love me still, and tell me that you always will
Print my name within the subtext of your mind
Don't be so forward in the prologue of our time
Love me blind
Dear Mr. Frost, I hope that someday you will see
My summer songs are dead and gone and cast out on the sea
Paint me
Decorate me
Put me on a pedestal and tell me that you want me still
Break me
Come back and save me
Lie to me, but love me still, and tell me that you always will
Print my name within the subtext of your mind
Don't be so forward in the prologue of our time
Love me blind
I listened to a lot of Steve Lawson's music before buying any. So easy to play in the background while browsing on the iPad. So many moods and good to hear it coming as played live. He gets a lot from a bass and its in HD flac. It was time to catch up on buying... Alan Hall

WTF? How was this not in my Bandcamp collection. I must've bought it from a different account before! Anyway, I've been listening to this since before it was released and a decade on it's still a spectacularly perfect collection of songs. Sounds like a greatest hits album. Literally any track could be chosen as my 'favourite'. Truly astonishing. Steve Lawson
